Update: Screens of two new characters have appeared online and all bets are on them being the meat of Capcom's big announcement. T hawk and Juti (?) seem to be the new faces.
A new Street Fighter site has surfaced, teasing a mystery announcement tomorrow at 5pm, Japan time (that's 9am here).
The site features a brief black and white video (not the one below, that's just SFIV) of two unnamed fighters brawling, and feint text underneath dating tomorrow's reveal.

What could it be? The URL has the words "New Warrior" in it, which would insinuate a new character for Street Fighter IV, but that seems too obvious.
Rumours are doing the rounds that it could be a new SF game altogether, but isn't it a bit early for that? Or is it a Wii version of SFIV? Check out the teaser site for yourself...
and these rumours are what most of the internet is agreeing on, although it does sound a bit much.
I'll copy and paste for those who can't be bothered.
# The previously leaked characters are all said to be in the game. Dee Jay, T. Hawk, Dudley, Ibuki, Makoto, Adon, Cody and Guy. The new characters are rumored to be:
* Hakan - An Arabic grappler obsessed with oil. * Juri - Evil Asian girl fighter working for Seth.
# All characters will have two Ultras. They will both be available at one time, not selectable like with Third Strike's Super Arts. The commands to execute your Ultras do not overlap.
* It sounds like the characters from Third Strike are set up with their prior Super Arts. They had three in that game, so one will be their Super and the other two their Ultras. * Gen has four Ultras because of his two fighting styles. One of these is said to be an Air Ultra. * All characters still have one Super, except Sakura who apparently has a Shinkuu Hadoken (Super Fireball) as well.
# Some characters will have Air Ultras. # The Bonus Stages will be returning. # This will be an exclusive arcade release at least for a few months. # An official announcement is said to be coming at the Tokyo Game Show and on the Japanese Street Fighter 4 blog soon. # Expect the return of the many familiar Supers, and a few new ones like Metsu Shoryuken. Wow, that's a lot of content! It would be nice if this was all true, but I'm not sure if it would be. Also, if it was, I dred to think how much it would cost considdering the amount that the alternate costume pack is!
I doubt it will be DLC if they're adding as much as the rumours say, and I'd personally prefer a disk release anyway. No one bats an eyelid when stuff like FIFA, Madden, COD, Tiger, etc has a minor update once a year but when Capcom hints that they're doing what anyone who's ever been into fighters would expect them to do it's the end of the world.
Regular SFIV will still be there for you all to play if you don't want to shell out for a new version, just as New Generation, 2nd Impact, Alpha 1/2, Super Turbo, etc still are.

That's what I thought when I saw the trailer on the website.
Personally I want Evil Ryu, Bison-Ryu, Final Bison (original body) and Shin Akuma but there's no chance haha, maybe Evil Ryu will be.
it doesn't sound too far fetched there were at least 6 version of SFII and 3 of SFIII
A super version of IV wouldn't be out of the question considering its popularity and if half the additionals previously mentioned were included i'd get it.
I'm a sucker for Street fighter and always have been. Just wish they'd add Alex from 3. Although i did love Dudley, isn't he a little too close to Balrog. then again, ken, ryu, akuma, dan and sakura all play pretty similar.
I've got a feeling that we are all going to be let down, as it looks like to me its possibly a Wii version. I would LOVE if everything mentioned above was true though...........and it was released for the Xbox 360 before Christmas......sigh, I'm just dreaming now aren't I?

Hmm looking at them shots the res level ain't that high but that could be the pic quality, I'm inclined to think they could be Wii shots as the richness and textures don't seem as good (especially on the specials bar)?!
Hopefully I am wrong and its something for the 360/PS3 because SF4 has been awesome, although in my opinion T.Hawk is a fat bag of c**p, we have one over powered man mountain in Zangief not sure we need another, bring back Guy!

I couldn't agree with you more. I have never liked T Hawk either. Guy was a bit different from all the other characters and looked mint. I think he would work in SF4 very well indeed.
bring back deejay and guy.sweet news if it's true plus the chick is called juri and supposedly does taekwondo. this looks good love sf4 despite the fact i'm stuck in g-2.hope they nerf ryu and sagat so that it's a more level playing field also fuerte,vega and guile need a bit more strength.
I know SF fans hated the EX series, but I enjoyed it any chance characters from EX will be included? like Garuda or skullmania? oh and I WANT BONUS STAGES BACK.
bonus stages are back.juri is korean and not gouken's daughter saw pics of deejay in action in famitsu plus cody,guy and adon are also rumoured to be added to the roster as well as ibuki,makoto and dudley with turkish grappler hakan. the game will be more balanced which hopefully means that sagat and ryu will be less invincible and their juggles into ultra won't be as damaging.plus two ultras for everyone hope fei long gets an ultra shienkyaku as he's my main character.
Apparently this will be released in disc version but at a "budget" price. I hope that doesn't translete to Ł30 here
If you don't want to pay that much for it then wait until it drops in price rather than whining about it. A lot of people pay more every year for games that have been updated less and don't complain about it.
If its going to be budget then Ł25-Ł30 is the normal rate for a console title these days. Considering that its coming packed with 8 new fighters, is set a year after the first so fingers crossed will include new end movies for characters and a stack of balancing tweeks, its a pretty big update.
In terms of changed gameplay theres more here than your average sports game update.
Apparently theres some treat in store for guys that own both.
Glad they took onboard the feedback and have rebalanced the characters though...Now if only they could get rid of the Lariat Gief, electric Blanka spammers and the disconnecters and it will be perfect!!
