Got home yesterday. Halo arrived. Feverishly tore off wrapping and sat down to several hours of play. Twelve minutes later, the missus phones to say that since she and her workmates had had a bad day, WE were going to go out for drinks with them. Which I had to foot the lion's share of the bill for.
And to add insult to injury, they're cancer scientists.
