Contra Rebirth on WiiWare tomorrow

Brand new Konami shooter prepares to land
Contra game, Contra Rebirth will be released on WiiWare tomorrow, Konami's confirmed.

The new entry retains the shooter's trademark mix of rock-hard platform and shooting, the publisher says, with five alien-laden stages of big bazookas, boss fights and challenges tough enough to have you punching your own face.

It's yours for 1000 Nintendo Points. See some nice footage here.

Woohoo!!

I'll be getting this when I get from work tomorrow. I used to play the SNES one all the time with my brother. Shame he has moved to America, would have been nice to get some 2 player action in again Sad

yeah, me too. Shame they haven't put online play in it really. Something i think the wii doesn't do nearly enough of.

ABOVE POST GETZZZZZ IT

HOW RIGHT YOU ARE

AND THE ONLINE POST I THINK ULL FIND 99% OF ONLINE ABILED GAMES ARE NEVER PLAYED ONLY LIKE 3 X360 GAMES GET BIG ONLINE PLAY SO SUPPORTING IT IN EVERY TITLE MAKES NO SENSE

If you have the capability to do something why not.

There are plenty of online enabled games on both the 360 and PS3 that get regular play. There are only a handful on the wii, Generally they do it very well. Both The Conduit and Mario Kart spring to mind, but there's not enough cooperative online play.

It would have been a nice feature is all.

on an aside i think you're capslock key is stuck you might want to try prizing the boiled sweet off it kid!
