Capcom's Chris Kramer says the publisher has "come to grips with the abilities" of the PS3 after it came under fire for the inferiorities noticed in the PS3 version of Lost Planet 1.
Capcom won't be making the same mistakes with Lost Planet 2 which, Kramer explains, is running on an improved version of the gorgeous Resident Evil 5 engine.
"I know, in the PS3 side, with the original Lost Planet people were a little concerned about the quality of the graphics," admitted Kramer.
"That was one of Capcom's first PS3 games. Since then we've definitely got a lock on the system," he added. "If you look at games like Street Fighter IV and Resident Evil 5 you can see that Capcom's come to grips with the abilities of the platform.
"The thing for PS3 owners to know with Lost Planet 2, we're actually working on technology that was designed specifically for multi-platform use, and hyped up and ready for the PS3," he said.
Check the full PS Blog interview above, and there's a demo on Xbox Live now.
Capcom's version of a "fix" on PS3, usually means shoving 5GB worth of game data onto you're hard drive. Hopefully, this won't be the case this time. Right?
Good to hear, maybe next they can get to grips with an Atlas and find out about the continent called Europe and start releasing the ps1 resi games that the US and Japan have had for months!!.
Wow, so the ps3 is now the equal of the 360 on multiplatform games.
Now all they have to do is bring the online service up to par, oh and the controller,...and the voice chat...and here's a good one, how about a decent racing game this gen' please.

Just to point out that the PS3 controller is superior to the Xbox controller and GT5 will be out soon.
