Finished it ages ago, not likely to play single player through again and the multiplayer wasn't worth more than a few goes, good for the people that haven't played it yet though _________________ PSN ID: madjock-uk_sco |

That's right, because there's never been any bugs on a software release until the last couple of generations. Oh wait, it's always happened.
Software houses and closed beta testers can't possibly find all of the possible bugs and issues that a global release will. Especially since these days people think "beta" means "free trial".
The only difference is that the internet gives everyone a voice, so people who wouldn't have known that anyone else was having the same issue suddenly have people to share with.
Also consider the fact that post-release they have no contractual requirement to fix bugs. They have your money, you have your product. So this is a free service they're doing because they want to, not because they have to. _________________ Xfire | Xbox Live | PSN: Dajmin

Both versions should have been the same at launch. It was the low resolution and, I thought, relatively poor graphics of the PS3 version that put me off, and I couldn't fall back on my PC either because a): it isn't out yet and b): strangely ,there is no online mode in it.
Spent all my money on PS2 & DS JRPGs, so too late now. _________________ "Our world cannot be viewed through the glasses of common sense" - Masato Arai.

I'm a little skeptical about what they did to fix the graphics. Unless the high resolution graphics were already included on the PS3 disc in addition to the low resolution ones, there's no way to patch the graphics as the patch would be way too large.
At best they could have removed the blurring filter. There's no way they could have increased the resolution, unless like I said, the PS3's disk included the high resolution graphics to begin with.
I don't really care though since I beat Ghostbusters months ago and I've moved on to other games. |

A big patch for already a title that takes up 4gb as standard, will der b a patch to make the install patch smaller or an option of just streaming off the disc? No, i thought not! bah!... _________________ ~funkyellowmonkey(ps3 id)~ |

higher resolutions shouldn't be that hard to implement in a game, but you're right it wont be able to change the texture resolution. its highly likely the texture resolution was good enough to begin with, it was just the actual output resolution that was the bottleneck. |

That's a shame, oh well i'll get the 360 one then, i have both consoles but i play games not systems and the best games are on 360, plus the fact the controller wipes the floor with the playstation one... its a shame the xbox wasnt a better built console with blu ray and a silent fan, then it would be perfect |

Just for you LordVonps3 | Ah well, at least it looks better. Not quite up to 720p, but 1024x576 is definitely a step above 960x540. Proper 1280x720 (720p) would be 1 more step. Maybe at the next attempt Terminal Reality?
I wouldn't expect so, but it could well be that the textures & assets on the PS3 version's Blu-ray are smaller than those on the X360's DVD. TR may not have been able to do anything more with it post-release. Hardware QC out, software 2xMSAA in - is surprising.
Of most concern is that there's still a lot of tearing and frame drops - on PS3 & X360, but I suspect neither were as a result of Terror Dogs.
A pity that it's not meant to be a very good game anyway. _________________ DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE THE POWER OF PLAYSTATION 3 |
