Mass Effect DLC out now

Pinnacle Station is now available to buy from Marketplace
The new Mass Effect DLC pack, Pinaccle Station, is now available to buy from Marketplace for 400 MS points despite the odd fact that, technically speaking, it still hasn't been officially announced.

At the time of writing it's wasn't advertised on the console's dash (as we expect it will be shortly), but the option to buy it is currently buried deep within the 'All Downloads' option under Mass Effect.

As previous leaks revealed, the pack consists of 13 battle challenges, is set on a top-secret space station and will serve up new achievements and a few hours of gameplay.

Just queued it up from Xbox.com. The N7 armour for Avatar's may have to get purchased too! Embarassed

I'm tempted to pick it up, but I only just got a handful of new older game recently so I'm already having trouble playing them all.

I'm even tempted by the idea of stupid pointless N7 armour (or a biotic amp if such a thing exists) and I said I'd never buy anything for my avatar Razz

I know, I am ashamed Crying or Very sad Like do you start a new game or what?

Christ I should really look this up online and not make such a fool of myself

you need to land on a planet using the map thingy .. some sh!t like that , i can't really remember it's been a while ..

Has anyone purchased this, yet? If so, is it any good?

Loving the new layout by the way!
monty_79 on 25 Aug '09
IGN gave it 5/10.

No. It's not any good. It's umbelievably disappointing Crying or Very sad
But it isn't watering down my expectations for Mass Effect 2.
It is a shame because Mass Effect seems like the perfect game for DLC - throw in a new planet/space station and tackle it whenever you feel like during a campaign. I'm pretty sure that's what we were promised!
