Is it now standard for CoD to have an actor from 24 to do voiceover work? I only pray they don't include Kim Bauer in the next one.

Looks like we'll have some quiet pleasant and intoned voices to listen to. I'm very much looking forward to this. Smile

Call Of Duty 6: Modern Warfare 2 (2009) (VG)

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1450746/

That's Modern Warfare 2's IMDB Page ^... And the guy who played 'Gaz' is now playing a charcter called 'Ghost' ?

So maybe Craig Fairbrass will just be Gaz again ? o_O

Good to have Kevin McKidd(Rome's Lucius Vorenus) doing some voice work, well, just so long as he doesn't do that naff American accent from "Journeyman" anyway. Rolling Eyes

His Journeyman accent wasn't that bad, and I thought the show was good too Smile

I assume he's one of the SAS characters though, so he'll be allowed to be Scottish this time.

I think if Kevin McKidd used his scottish accent, I'll just be chuckling all the time because I'll be thinking of the 'Love Fist' guys in Vice City Smile

Activision are boosting game prices, claiming that games dev costs more these days, yet they hire the most expensive people to do voiceovers...

We are victims of their ambition, they could try hard, make a great game, and use unknowns to cut costs?

It's just pure cheek I say!

50 Cent has already done his voice work, and it isnt a rumor it has been confirmed by IW.

He is to be a character's voice in the online multiplayer, not the guy who says "We've got the bomb" etc, ..but one of the guys that get shot at lol.

They might as well have used unknowns as far as I'm concerned; I've never heard of any of them. Not that it matters, as long as their voices sound good in the game.

he was great as pat tate in rise of the footsoldier, read a stack about the retendon range rover murders and he seems to hit the character of pat tate on the head, class act...

Would've been better if Gaz and Price didn't die, and actually returned in this one, but ah well....

Least Keith David has a role, that mans a f**kin pro. I remember him from way back when he voiced Goliath in that Gargoyles cartoon in the 90's.
