Habu Laser Gaming Mouse

Article: With Teflon for smooth and quiet gliding!
For those in the market looking for a new mouse who think that anything more than a handful is just too much, then be sure to check out the Habu Laser Gaming Mouse.

Underneath its sleek, black design is a melding of great gaming minds. Microsoft Hardware has teamed up with the mighty Razer to release what both firms are calling "the ultimate high-performance wired mouse".

More than that though, both Microsoft and Razer claim that "PC gaming will never be the same". Big words indeed.

As you'd expect, the Habu comes with customisable buttons: two removable side button panels give you options for different hand sizes or preferences and all seven buttons are programmable. If that's not enough, you can store up to five profiles in mouse memory.

Habu Laser Gaming Mouse
Here's a list of features:

  • High Speed Sensitivity Switching Adjust mouse sensitivity on the fly - up to 2000 DPI - for controlled sensitivity. The default is 800 DPI but is adjustable from 400, 800, 1600 to 2000 DPI with the toggle buttons.
  • High-speed motion detection Gamers get their speed on with movements up to 45-inches per second, 20-G acceleration and more than 7080 frames per second.
  • 16 bit Data Path and 1000 Hz Ultrapolling Habu has a 16 bit data path for increased bandwidth with high-sensitivity mouse activity. Increased data path improves response time.
  • Superior Response Time With an always-on laser that delivers near-zero-lag response time.
  • Mouse Glide Habu has ultra-slick Teflon to provide smooth and quiet gliding.
  • Ergonomic Design A right handed comfort design allows slip-resistant grip with rubber-coated buttons for improved comfort for long hours of gaming.

Don't let all that tech jargon out you off though. You're not buying a piece of equipment that could fly the Space Shuttle, you're buying a mouse that fits perfectly in the palm of your hand, looks great and does exactly what you require it to. What more do you want? A 16 bit Data Path? Good, because you've got that too!
