Namco Bandai has released new shots of Katamari Forever, which is coming to PS3 later this year. Here's what you'll get, "Featuring the largest collection of stages, modes, songs, and cousins to date, remixed classic Katamari Damacy tunes, a brand-new storyline, multiple new visual effects and 1080p graphics, Katamari Forever is the ultimate Katamari experience." Sounds about right to us.
Already got this on Japanese Import. Great game, much, much better than the xbox version which was rubbish imo. I am about half way through and I would say it is as good as the second PS2 game.
While I did quite enjoy the Beautiful Katamari demo and thought about picking up a copy of that, it was more out of a kind of morbid curiosity.
But a large collection of cousins? Well obviously that's what every game needs...
Proper 1080p graphics seems a little pointless on a title like though too - it's not exactly crazy on high-poly models (until your katamari is massive anyway) :)
Also can't decide if I like the use of Valkyria Chronicles-style pastel colouring or not.
