But i hope their is a few extras comming soon going to get a ps3 (for the fourth time) when the price goes down and i love C.V.G but i have to say to ppl that gamersyde is the best gamming website for videos and news before any1 else. streaming, torrent and direct downloads come on C.V.G get with it , i use to get your magazine ordered to me over 10 years ago whats happened. I got the YLOD a couple of weeks ago, sent it to repair. I should be getting it back this weekend.

You get a replacement straight away on a doorstep. No they're just taking it down for the sake of it. Although you're obviously a drug addicted illiterate, I've added Gamersyde to my RSS feeds. I will see how it goes. Lookin forward to this afternoons conference. Sounds like quite alot is going to be revealed. makes you wonder if theres some kind of big update on the way. A new dash perhaps. One can dream i guess. Is there anykind of live feed for gamescom? Anyone know? bloody well better not be, can you imagine how long an update like that would take using the PS3. christ even the most minimal updates take upwards of 5 mins. good point. But after the 3 days of waiting and another 7 including all the times it failed to finish the download and other annoying technical buggerations, your PS3 will be reborn, with functionality properly comparable to NXE. menus that are actually easy to navigate fater updates less buggering about. demos that dare i say it install themselves. 5 mins? wow you're lucky, i can never get updates to complete through the wifi connection( works fine on two laptops and another pc ) and have to manually update firmware downloading it from my PC. On top of that the GT5 prologue update has never worked + some other games, game demos download fine though
PS3 wifi = rubbish »thats why mines is wired into the broadband. and that even takes ages for updates. that said my friends xbox taken about 30 mins to download the last dashboard update and COD:WaW update together. mind u he has really shitty broadband. i'll keep the wi-fi for the laptop, though downloading shit through that seems fine /crosses fingers
HD Porn service, PLEASE! Would be funny if there was no update or anything and just wanted to make sure people payed attention to the conference by removing online play :P nxe is ugly and nowhere near as slick as xmb in my opinion. Don't downloads auto install now?
I thought choosing to manually install was a good thing if you were downloading from your American account onto tour English account,but then again i might have been at the medicine cabinet again.(snore,zzzzzz) :P That would be such a C**t's trick.
If something good comes from the downtime though then fair enough. If you choose shutdown while downloading demos, and click the close when finished downloading box, the demos do install once downloaded
Just make sure you turn off the power to your pad, or no play time without the wire when you next turn it on while it charges again

I've told that moron that before and he still doesn't get it. It's the same as his 'can't download demos while playing a game on the PS3', er yes you can. You can't download updates while playing a game he means. :roll: |
