I think I am going to upgrade my PC just before this game gets released. Good reason to I think. I am starting to get really excited by this game. I am a BIIIIG ID fan. This is what fallout 3 should of looked like. This is going on my wishlist! :D i think we're going to be in for a long wait... looks awesome though. Looks very average to be honest, the driving sections look like crap, and the shooting is bog standard stuff we've seen in many other games. I also think Killzone 2 looks better. Remember, this is just a video. It'll look much nicer on a large flat screen monitor. I can't really comment on KZ2 though as I have not seen it close up.
But saying that, Rage is not going to be everyones cup of tea though :) Well....we will see which one plays better. i think nick is just trying to get a rise out of someone, don't fall for the bait people there's too much bickering in these forums.
did anyone else think they've borrowed quite a bit from falout 3 with the theming of this game? not to say thats a bad thing, post apocolyptic waste-lands are the new zombies. it does look average i admit but ive also read a few of your comments today to realise that you know ... how to put it, F*CK ALL. Killsone 2 looks better?????? Killzone was average at best ff's and dont get me started on the boring multiplayer god i played for days and days to see if it improved with age like a good wine, As i ranked up and had a ratio of 4.00+ over 10,000 kills i got fed up, and woke up and smelt the coffee.
PS Mass effect 2 will be wet dream material tho still feel a KOTOR 3 would be orgasmic lol Maybe not borrowed, depends when they started working on it, I guess. It definitely looks like Fallout 3 though. It was the first thing that popped into my mind when I saw it for the first time. :) ok i've had another look, just in this trailer we have;

i like id and some of it is probably coincidental but come on, apart from the driving bits this could well be fallout3 remix Okay so, because a game is themed Post-apocalypse, it is then titled as a Fallout 3 remix?, Wow you guys really are retards after all.
We have people speaking about Killzone 2 in here, when this title is aimed as a First Person-RPG. yet killzone 2 is a First Person Shooter.
They are in completely different genre's for one.. And two, well one is a single player, and the other is a multiplayer...
And because something looks post-apocalypse it is then a fallout 3 remix, yet people haven't even taken time to look into seeing if the storys are the same or not..
Come on guys, I know your retarded but not that retarded .. it still looks good and i am interested in it but there's a lot of stuff you can do with a post apocolyptic wasteland that wasn't in fallout 3. Anyone saying this doesn't look as good as KZ2 might not be being swayed by the fact that ID have said it will run better on the xbox are they?
Funny that, something being better on the cheaper, older 360... starting to become a trend... When did ID say it will run better on the Xbox? I must have missed that. I could have sworn they said it's running at 60 fps on the xbox at the moment and they're confident it will run at 60fps on the PS3. That video does make "Rage" look good, IMO. I might pick it up, however "Borderlands" is still first in line between the two in my book. Oh, and as far as I'm concerned where it pertains to FPS it's PC all the way. Dodgy aiming controls on console pads are a big "No-no". Looks decent but nothing getting me excited. Many better looking/more interesting games coming out. Im watching Quakecon as im typing this so will see if theres any extra info/footage that impresses me.
Off Topic: I just heard of Brink a few days ago and it sounds amazing. Why did I just say that?...dont know :?
As for killzone 2 im playing through it now and the graphics are excellent and im really enjoying it. My opinion may be sullied as the last month ive played through, in order, Turok (shite) Haze (good) and now killzone which im loving |
