Flipnote Studio launches for free!

This wee's Nintendo update bring with it the Flipnote Studio app that allows you to create your own little animations. All for free too! There's also some retro RPG action in the form of Phantasy Star from Sega. Here's the full release:

NINTENDO DSiWARE - Flipnote Studio (Nintendo, FREE)

Unleash your creativity with this easy to use animation tool. Flipnote Studio lets you bring sketches to life and even publish your finished works online.

Simply draw on the Touch Screen with the stylus, choosing from different pen, paint and paper types. Save your creation as a single Flipnote or create multiple pages to turn it into an animation, just like a flip book.

Anyone can create simple animations in minutes or go a step further with advanced tools. Save time by copying one frame to the next, add different image layers, shrink, flip and more. You can even add sounds recorded with the Nintendo DSi microphone and images taken with Nintendo DSi Camera.

When you've finished your masterpiece upload it to Flipnote Hatena* (http://flipnote.hatena.com/), an online portal where Flipnote Studio users across the world can share their creations.

*Please note that Flipnote Hatena is not owned or operated by Nintendo.

NINTENDO DSiWARE - Sujin Taisen: Number Battles (Nintendo, 500 DSi Points)

This new kind of board game, that combines puzzle and strategy in a battle of wits, comes all the way from Japan. Take turns against human or computer opponents to reach a target score by placing numbered tiles on the board.

Score points by linking the arms of each tile in various ways: tiles with the same number or sequence of numbers, and tiles in a loop. Also look out for special squares that affect play in new ways and useful items that aid you in your pursuit of points.

Go it alone in the main Story or Puzzle modes or battle against up to three opponents across the world via Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection. You can even learn from your past with History mode, showing the moves recorded during previous contests.

WiiWARE - Family Slot Car Racing (Aksys Games, 500 Wii Points)

Daddy, Mummy, Sarah, and Billy are putting the pedal to the metal in Family Slot Car Racing. Race through three circuits, each composed of multiple race tracks and even bonus tracks. You can also race against a friend for some friendly one on one racing action.

Choose among multiple slot cars with varying designs to see which has the best grip and speed. As you progress you'll unlock new courses and even new slot cars to help you reach the top of the racing circuit.

Do you have it in you to be the fastest racer on four wheels?

I may have to buy another Wii card. I want Phantasy Star. Also, is FFCCMLAADL any good? Or Final Fantasy IV: The After years?

Final fantasy the after years is worth while if you want a retro style rpg, and also good if you want to continue the story of the original, but be warned there is dlc, but it's reasonably price, and it ties in with the main story.
