I would have pre-ordered it, but until I actually get to examine the feedback of customers not directly attached to either BioWare nor EA regarding EA's supposedly new and less virulent DRM system I won't spend a penny on this game. They burned me with "Crysis" and "NWN 2". Both of these companies have to re-earn my trust especially in light of the debacle both "Spore" and "Mass Effect" caused.

Mass Effect was an absolute shambles with its ridiculous copyright protection, I have one activation left, I think, before I have to phone them someone and get my activations reset? What a joke! I'd forgotten about that, maybe preordering it is a mistake just now.

I am in the same boat as the rest of you. I really really want to pre order this game but I just can't bring myself to do it with the severity of the copyright protection being up in the air.
