Looks and great, story will keep me playing on till the end but i still fear the formula will be much the same as the last, even though they have said it wont.
The game wasn't broken so they didnt need to fix it but they could have added bit more spice into it from what ive seen so far and varied the missons even more.
Anyway since MW2, Brutal Legend and maybe FIFA are the only games im considering getting at Xmas i guess it means this will receive warm welcoming arms non the less from the fans regardless of what it brings to the table but i dont blame them ....... theres F*ck all out. Looks like more of the same to me. Has rent written all over it. Agreed caodonnell, it looks like a slightly slicker version of the first one. Ooh, now he can stab people with two hands! Seriously, as long as they actually put a bit more variation in it it should be ok.

LONG LOADTIMES GLITCHES BUGS FREEZES AKA 99% OF UBISOFTS GAMES Can't wait for the game AC II will be game of the year again just like AC I, so pumped for this game November better come soon lol 8) This is definately looking cool and a big upg from AC1, just a shame all these games are coming for the xmas market, MW2, Uncharted 2, AC2, PES10 n maybe GT5!! Where do you get the time to play them, santa's going to be busy! Just borrowed the first one from a friend. I'm surprised the lead character is so out of place against the rest of the characters and actors. The voice-acting is acceptable for the most part, but the lead character's so wooden he makes Keanu Reeves sound like a Shakespearean-trained thespian! And how come in a land quite a few hundred years before the existence of the American accent is our hero as Western as can be with this accent, when every other character at least feels slightly authentic! Very odd.
Apart from that the game, as I'd previously read, is incredibly simplistic and far less engaging than, well, any first person shooter I've played. The camera really struggles sometimes, say compared to Mass Effect, which seems to do everything better than Ass Creed. At the moment, I'm not sure I'd even care to borrow the sequel, assuming my friend even bothers with it. Reasonably nice looking game, poor framerate, some dodgy animation, on a pretty average game engine from the looks of things.
