As Galactus5 said, it would be bad business sense to drop the price when the system sells so well. To be honest i'm getting a bit bored of reading about price drops. But still you read it, even with the title 'No price cuts planned' I read it more for the vitality sensor. I was hoping that they had come to their senses and canceled it.
Seriously, though, I can see how I looked a bit silly there. I don't mind reading them, but my point is that we see one every week. before you can use a heart rate monitor in a horror game, you have to make some more horror games.
**** new bits of kit, just give me some games that i actually want to buy! I guess the repeated reporting on console prices is some sort of comfort to me. I'd really like to buy a PS3, but can't justify the cost when I'm saving for more important items. It's nice to know other gamers, CVG, and even the games developers are still concerned about the existing gens pricing. Maybe a couple more price rises? The toner is starting to get a bit low. But it's fine for a while. It STILL PRINTS MONEY! ;-) I'd still like to see price cuts in virtual console games or even a "rent" option where the game self deletes after a few days.
It would be nice to see some price drops in wii-remotes/nunchucks too, for the existing decreasingly loyal user-base :P
Heck I wouldnt mind a price increase if they finally included a BLOODY HARD DRIVE :D Hey good point there! I would rather a controller price cut than a console one. They are quite pricey as they are. Considering it is a social console when you really need all 4 controllers to get the most out of the machine. That is actually a great angle for a price drop there. Seriously, I think that would work for nintendo :) |
