Ah well, I have the disk version anyway. Batman demo it is then. nice to see the fight night stuff is free....shame about the call of juarex maps ...£8...too much for a few multiplayer maps Yeah, where on earth is the MGS PSN game? There were rumours it'd be out in late June, early July, but obviously not. I might checkout the Batman game. what gives? update not up on hong kong, us, or uk store?
I want batman :cry: Yh, I guessed the Batman demo would be out today and not tomorrow like CVG said it wuld come out.

Another Ps1 classic that I'm waiting for is Res Evil the Directors cut. Its been out for ages in Japan and the states - Its absoloutely ridiculous how they take so long to release them in europe!! Just played the demo of batman and im pretty impressed, will definitely be pre-ordering it now! Love the dramatic fights and cool bat-grapple and takeout moves, very nicely done and atmospheric! :) Just downloaded and played the demo. I got to admit I was really impressed with it definatly a day 1 purchase for me. found a few minor bugs but nothing to put me off (ragdoll effects) only took 10 mins do download which isn't bad for a 1.4gb demo. Just got and played the demo, and have to say. Awesome. At last a really really good superhero game, that gets what the comics and the animated series are about. Had already pre ordered this game, now I just have to countdown the next three weeks :( Curse my slow broadband connection!!! I want Batman now!!!!!! O well, just have to play more Bioshock till then. I was really, really impressed by the demo. Looks like all the early reviews were bang on. Downloaded it. Played it. Loved it.
Seriously though how satisfying does the combat want to be??? Catching a guy's leg mid-air then getting him the f*ck away with an open-palm punchto the face will never get old. I don't know if anybody else has noticed this, but if you play a game on the PS3 whilst downloading, it will take forever.
My advice is to just leave the machine running and do something else and it will probably only take 30 minutes or so.
The PS3 realy is a mans machine. What I mean by that, is that it can't multi-task! :lol:
Anyway, brilliant game. Simple but satisfying combat, great visuals, good story and easy to grasp controls.
A dream come true for Batman fans. Played it late last night and enjoyed it.
Looks a top notch game to me.
Normally i get the 360 version of a multiplatform game over the ps3 version, but i couldn't see any flaws at all with the ps3 demo i played last night.
Whatever version i can find cheaper will get my money. Played the demo yesterday, really impressed! Seemed real easy to pick up too... |
