I hope this isn't a sign of things to come, I have my consoles for gaming and my ipod touch for music, I have no interest in playing 'proper' games on it. This sounds pretty greedy to me.
This is just a marketing ploy. It's not going to be anything terribly exciting vis-a-vis the exclusive content. They're never going to get 'proper' games on the iPhone, because it doesn't have enough possible control schemes.
They're going to make a few quick bucks with these tie-in titles, but they're never going to replace dedicated gaming handhelds like the PSP and DS like Apple hopes. They're just not set up for it. Sure, they might have incredible graphics processing capabilities but drawing patterns across your screen gets old pretty quickly.
