I may just get this when it comes out. I played this on PC years ago and it is good, intense fun. Unfortunately, I found it to be repetitive after just a few levels, so I won't be bothering with the remake.
If it's cheap enough, I'd recommend it. Looking good as brush-ups go, I remember playing the original and it being mental with the amount of stuff thrown at you, also the humour as well. Any idea on how much this'll cost? And if it'll have fantastic new multiplayer modes? If any game was made for Horde-style multiplayer, it's Serious goddamn Sam. I remember having a blast with this Game (quite literally) back in the day.
Reckon this should be a Day 1 download for me, try to re live my youth  . I hope they include split-screen co-op mode. It was insanely fun to play the game with a buddy, and the only reason I'm going to get this one. Those screaming suicide bombers running over the hills used to really unnerve me for some reason. Is it just me or do you get this thing with all these retro releases of good games. I read about it, get all excited recalling youthful days of spending limitless hours on the old systems. Recent news of TMNT, R-Type and now Serious Sam are all good examples.
However I have purchased a few, the last been SF2 HD REmix which looked and played great but has not seen the light of day for months, this nostalgia seems to have short legs for me. You play it, think yeah this was good, then bin it off for COD4 or something.
But while we are at at can we have a revamped Road Rash please :) Is it just me or do you get this thing with all these retro releases of good games. But while we are at at can we have a revamped Road Rash please :) Is it right that Serious Sam HD wont be released until February? In terms of games especially the past is best left there as a glorious memory in my opinion although I do have a couple of exceptions to that. 8) masses of fun in coop this game, one of my most played games of all time, the remake looks much prettier 1200 points. It also has a 4 player co-op mode. Not sure what other multiplayer modes it will contain. |
