Ferrari Challenge was an underated gem, but it just took too long to get into. Once you did get into it though, you realised it had the best handling of any console race sim ever.
The only thing Supercar challenge needs is a decent career mode that makes you work to get the top cars and it will be a classic. Absolutely. I initially bought FC on alunch but sold it on as I just didn't get into the challenge part. However I bought it again 2nd hand and I still play it to this day. Easily the most accurate handling on console. I enjoy the agressive AI even if they are not the best all round. Would prefer if online was a bit better.
Anyway, this is shaping up to be better than FC. For me a lot of it is the sound. The sound of the Aston (on other HD websites) is superb. FC was great for cockpit audio. Anyway, who knows when it will be released but its a day one purchase for me (but with more patience this time). Yeah FC was a very good racing sim with some great tracks aswell.
I switched off the music and just had the car sounds on,they were auperb especially in the cockpit view.
I think this might be a day 1 purchase for me if they improve the online aspect. |
