Splinter Cell was looking awesome! loads of things are being ****in delayed, wot is the point aggghhhh next to **** all out this year now wanted my new splinter cell aswell :(, i thought every year had amazing end of year lineups, all i can say is this is the worst PERIOD, thank god for cod mw 2 and a few others
but with all the games that have been delayed this year, next year will own Not happy at all with Splinter Cell being delayed, Activision must be overjoyed that there's now virtually no competition to stop them gouging all of us this Christmas.
Wasn't even aware there was a new Ghost Recon, so I had no reason to expect it out this year. At least Brutal Legend is still coming out this year as long as Activision don't get their way (the b******s). Unfortunately MW2 has a lot to do with why so many games are being put back till next year. The problem is, all the big games will be coming out around the same time next spring so it will be no less competitive then. Now all I'm left with is... New Super Mario Bros. Screw this! Is Mass Effect 2 still out this year? Please say it is! If not, I only have L4D2 to look forward to (although if I play it on-line even half as much as the first, it will still be a good 5 months)!
Yeah, looks like MW2 will have very little competition in November. Ubisoft you *******s!! - Couldn't care less about Splinter Cell but I wanted Red Steel 2 for christmas. - Maybe if you stopped throwing weight behind utter shit like Rabbids, you could apply yourself properly to the more promising projects. Mass Effect 2 is listed on Play.com as 29/01/10, so unlikely to be out this year, even if that date isn't very accurate. But if it means a better game as a result, then I'm fine to wait. Gives me extra time to save my pennies, too. Unfortunately, Mass Effect 2 is delayed until January if I remember correctly. It looks like it is gonna be a boring christmas this year with no Splinter Cell, Bioshock or Mass Effect.
It looks like this huge mess is COD's fault. Is it just me or is anyone else fed up with this bland linear franchise :x Mass Effect 2 was never scheduled for this year.
On-topic. Kinda disappointing, but now I will be picking up Brutal Legend for sure, as long as Activision don't throw a spanner in the works! I'm getting worried for Dead Rising 2 now, haven't heard or seen anything about it for ages... Great another delay! Ok Red Steel 2 was all I was after for the time being but still. As someone else said 2010 really is starting to get packed and looking very expensive indeed. So many games are coming out it is unbelievable that many of them will do well.
Plus surely this will mean MW2 will do even better in the charts and sales because it has nothing to compete with? It wasnt to long ago we we're all moaning about the winter line up having too many games, now we're moaning again.
Obviously this is good from a money point of view but not for choice. Ive got Forza 3 , OSDT and MW2 so Ill be fine. Would have bought this depending on a demo probably.
It seems the best way to win at commercial warfare in these modern times is to scare the opponents from even trying. yea i bet activision are laughing mw 2 will make a killing wen its out The fact they have now made it 360 EXCLUSIVE!!! means this news is irrelevant to me personally, seeing as they have just cut out the entire original SC PC fan base! and that's not to mention the PS3 owners.

to worse. gahhh!! I never heard anything about the PC version being cancelled?! Looks like its a shit Xmas for 360 owners. Possibly the most uninteresting game out of them all is only real big game coming out. And if all games are getting delayed because MW2, then this is a reflection of sad times and a real sad state of affairs.
With this and another crap Halo game, 360 suckers will have a really great time this Xmas. But since that's all they play anyway, its not like they will care Oh look, lady boy is back. I'm right pissed off now! uh you meant 24 the game (2) not splinter cell. anyways i dont really care as this isnt really splinter cell but ghost recon being delayed hurts, almost as bad as kidney stones. :evil: Aslong as my beloved Left 4 Dead 2 doesnt get delayed I'll be set for 360 gaming this year. And now SC is delayed I'll get Uncharted 2 for my PS3. In my opinion it is modern warfare 2 that is scaring away all of these great games, a lot of people would disagree, but what they're doing is smart but at the same time very annoying. They must feel that Modern Warfare 2 will be a huge competitor in the games industry and this way it gives them all a better chance to sell their games and give them more time to add those tweaks to the game which will benefit everybody and don't get me wrong, i'm definitely going to buy Modern Warfare 2. Who cares?? I personally wouldn't touch Modern Warfare 2 with an extremely long barge-pole. - The less realistic, military-based FPS's the better in my opinion.

Seems like every decent game i wanted to play this christmas is being delayed because of that Pile of shit.
Looks like it'll be a safe bet for biggest selling game this christmas. considering nothing else is being released. To be honest, I was boycotting MW2 until it dropped in price (£35 is the most I'm willing to pay). Halo, GTA IV DLC, Forza 3, L4D 2, Brutal Legend and hopefully Dead Rising 2 ( I have a feeling Capcom will delay it) will keep me entertained for ages! And then the XBLA summer lineup on top of that. 8) splinter cell delayed again. it's not even funny anymore. been waiting for the new one for ages The Splinter Cell delay is a real shame, instead of an expensive Christmas we're going to have an expensive Spring. i think its all due to MW2.
publishers know how well that games going to sell, so there keeping away from it i wouldent be surprised to see AC2 delayed till december.
but sorry ubi you just lost 2 sales, shame i really looking forward to splinter cell conviction and especially i am alive i was really dying to play that.

was replaying cod4 last night and it still looks quite good, has great sound but the gameplay really, really has aged and it feels unbelievably bland and dare i say unfinished. and I was 1 of those people praising it a year ago.
seriously if they do not fix the AI on both sides, how cheap the enemies are at higher difficulties and those damn respawns I wont bother with it, ever. Oh great!
Another boring Mother****ing Christmas for Wii owners yet again! Too annoyed today, completley bored on my day off, Spore servers are down, Wii games are totally boring and uninspiring lately and all the great games are years away while for now we have to put up with ****ingShit! :evil: :evil: :evil:
Oh and on top of it all my banks computers are all down today so I cannot check if I have been paid today either or draw out any cash. ****ing Stupid ****ards! :evil: :evil: :evil: Hope soooooo badly that Modern warfare 2 gets delayed!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Its pissin me of, delaying all these other great games, because I am fairly sure it is the reason for most of these games delays. MW2 has a lot to answer for, or at least the general game publisher's reaction to it.
Its sad, at this rate MW2 is going to be the only game on the shelves. Nothing like having a positive outlook is there, all i ever see on these forums is you ranting on against all companys apart from nintendo who churn out the same games over and over again, you talk about nothing new on other consoles, I own all consoles and the wii gets the least play and has the least coming out thats "new".
