DSi gets Facebook app

Photo application out now
A Facebook photo application has been released for DSi.

Upgrade your handheld to firmware version 1.4 and you'll get the Facebook app, which lets you upload daft photos from your DSi for all to see.

Once you've upgraded your handheld, a Facebook logo will appear in the camera's album selection. From there you can connect online to your Facebook account and upload snaps, says Official Nintendo Magazine.

Up to 200 photos can be uploaded in one album, which will be automatically named "Photos from Nintendo DSi".

Roll on a Facebook or Twitter Channel for the Wii

It also blocks the use of many current DSi flashcards so homebrew software enthusiasts may want to think twice before updating.

justdownloaded it after a new install of my nintendo usb dangle are net gear box is no good with ds/dsi and it seems to pulse the wifi signal rather than give a consistent signal

so iv installed the justy opld usb dangle to a laptop and stream my dsi/wii connection thru that it seems to work better than direct to net gear box

just my firewall is ticked to allow usb dangle but still blocks it

so if im nintendo-ing only online i turn it off then back on before general net usage

ill get a better wifi box net gears vergin box is a joke

ill be posting some pics on the misses facebook account
