I prefer the blue one. good to see more choice in pad colours. black or white is a little dull.
But i wonder if we're going to see any of the different coloured ps3/wii pads for sales in the uk any time soon. Would look more appealing if the buttons/sticks were a slightly different shade to the controllers. As they are the contrasting black indeed makes them look tacky. Go to ASDA and get non drip gloss paint for less than a fiver. They look like they were made from Lego. Actually, not even lego, but Duplo, the Lego rip off stuff.
Yeah, I would happily fork out £40 for one of those babies... Ha ha, like NOT! Ah ha ha I imported a white one, but now I want the blue one.

and red and blue are staples in thier flag.

Bwahahahaha! :wink: I disagree since the architectural layout of a controller will impact the grip, ease of use of the controls, the overall feel of the pad, etc. The colour itself is more for aesthetic value which wouldn't impact the game controls directly...though the psychological impact might (just look at SVD going apoplectic over the apparently American-only colours of red and blue). :lol: With huge great big spoiler like bits of trim on the top to make it look more aerodynamic. Duplo is manufactured by Lego. FAIL. bought A white ps3 dual shock 3 on ebay last week for £24. came in ps3 box and thought it was the genuine article. for about 2 days. until it kept freezing the ps3. To look at it, it looks virtually identicle to black dual shock 3 I just bought from play for £35 to replace it (except its white,has a very weak vibration effect and the label underneath doesnt have the CE certificate) I say it everytime - I'' never buy off ebay again, but I always do it. doh. so 1 official dual shock 3 has cost be nearly £60 for that credit crunch saving attempt! The dumb fella doesn't reply to me, I think I'm lucky enough to be on his 'ignore' list. But you might want to remind him that red and blue are primary colours, along with yellow of course. It's generally safe to assume most people like either or both of those colours. Which probably explains why those two colours (or variations of) are the most popular for company logos, cars, flags. Primary colours are about as safe and non offensive as colours get, hence the reason Sony have chosen them. And as everyone and his gran has pointed out to Captain Brainless, it's clearly nothing to do with the colours of a flag.
