I downloaded the benchmark, and it ran at an average of 45 FPS. I've already maxed the game out on the 360, so whether I'd get it again for the PC I'm not sure. May do when it becomes really cheap.
The benchmark looked slightly better than the 360 version - sharper edges and the colours looked more vibrant. Windows 95 won't run it? damn :( this isw hy im waiting till i get the money toghter for a good pc, saw some pc screens of resi 5 looks ****in gorgous on pc The CPU and GPU recommended requirements are higher than I would have expected. Ah well, with the continuing advancement of IT technology I suppose that's to be expected. Now I just need to find out what sort of DRM scheme this game comes with; that'll be what determines if/when I get this game. Price will determine how long I wait if the DRM is found to be acceptable by my standards. Is there actually any point in putting down any OSs before XP? Surprised they didn't list DOS 3.1x... Win95  u seriuos this os dead for long time u have to upgrade dude. waaaaaat? no DOS? DAMN! but i love my windows 95 also. best os by far  mind you, the 286 sticker fell off my pc last week and i havent been able to find it anywhere.... Those minimum specs should be well within the range of most casual PC gamers.
As I've played and loved the 360 version of Resi 5 I wouldn't normally bother buying the PC version but with the promised extras, I might just on this occasion, just to see how much of an improvement(if any) it is over the console versions. Doesn't matter. It's another game on my list of "No Sale!" because it uses Windows LIVE.
Oh for gods sake :x f**k OFF LIVE...
Another for the achievement whores.
Still, this was a game I was considering getting a console for and didn't have to because it was coming to PC. So I'll probably still end up getting it.
and playing it in offline mode. What?! Nooooo! :( I will not be told which social programs and accounts I must, or must not, have in order to play a game I buy! That settles it: I'll just borrow a work colleague's Xbox 360 version of this game instead. Well done publisher! See what happened there? In your lame attempt to control everything and earn profit you've just managed to lose another customer precisely because of those methods. Sheer idiocy. |
