Champions Online: New shots

Crytpic superhero MMO out this spring
Atari and Cryptic have released 15 (mostly) new shots of their superhero MMO and spiritual City of Heroes follow-up, Champions Online.

The online effort, in case you're none the wiser, is based on the popular pen-and-paper Champions RPG and will put a big focus on the total customisation of your hero including their look, size, backstory and nemesis.

Is this still coming to the 360?

If it is, will someone explain to me how you actually do an MMO on a console? Im confused :? .

As far as i know its PC only, and for how can they do an MMO on a console go ask the guys who are making DC online for the PS3, and ofcourse the guys who made FF11 that came out on the 360 some years ago.

I know that DC Online is coming to the PS3 there is also Conan, APB, Huxley and a few others as well. Its not so much the technicalities of how it will work, its more lalong the lines of how will they charge for it? Subscription based? I hope not.

I would wager that it will be subscription based just like WoW, etc. If it ain't broke, and all that...Should be fairly straight forward whether it's on the PC or a console. You have to register online and the subscription has a monthly fee, etc. I don't see how else they would do it, unless they plan on making it a one-time purchase price like "Guild Wars".

Its still coming to the 360 looks ok as long as theres no subscription fee.

Final Fantasy 11 and PSU both came to 360... both are sub based... you just have to pay or not play, up to you.

These will be sub based guaranteed.

Lotro might be the only one to make it.
