It gives me time to make up a good sickie excuse/book time off. Drakes 2 is the only game this year that would force me to take such measures.
Unless GT5 actually got released this year.... Mmmm, better think of two good excuses. :lol: Cool. Hopefully it doesnt come out on the same friday as Brutal Legend though, October 16th, I like my new games to be spaced out a bit.

It will be truly Awesome!!! I think it'll get a release over here the friday of that week. so it should in thory come out the week after brutal legend. So that gives me a week to finish it.
Also i wouldn't hold your breath about GT5 rearing its ugly head by the end of this year. thats more likely to be a christmas 2010 release at the earliest.
Just started replaying the original unchartered. i forgot how damn awesome it was. this is one game you need an HD television for. ...looks great...but i hope its more adventure based than just a Gears rip off as it seems from the footage. Still a definate buy but a bit worried its gonna be just "another shooter" with cool graphics... If Jekyll and Hyde wrote a comment, it'd probably read a bit like yours... :? stuff the puzzles for all i care. they were boll*cks anyhow.
enjoyed more the bits you had to work out how to proceed and it wasnt obvious (until that annoying hint kicked in)
like climbing up cliffs, dropping down from ledges, shimmying etc.
that bit after/before the submarine comes to mind. once you got to the top you seen the stunning amazon skyline with sunset. amazing graphics. the best on any console i think. especially the water and when drake got soaked. agreed, uncharted is still amazing lookin and one of the best lookin games on ps3 and on any console this gen imo, cant wait for 2 I wondered what that huge sigh of relief was I heard when I opened my front door this morning...
It was gamers relieved that another game hasn't been pushed back to 2010 due to MW2 or to fit a fiscal calendar. I agree with the masses, this should be stunning, I can't recall too many games I enjoyed more than the original.
MW2 will be taking a definite backseat to this. I'm already waiting for it to be knocked back. I’d have to disagree with you there, I’d say all games need an HD set this generation. I got moved into the bedroom by a mardy missus last night and played on an old TV, it was quite frankly depressing. Next time I’ll grow some balls and tell her no, well at least I’ll do that in my head anyway.
Uncharted does look breathtaking from what I’ve seen of it so far, I’ll probably buy this as a present for my brother and play it on his PS3… Are you going to get 100% trophies on this one too? Did you cheat on the first using a walkthrough or did you do it all yourself? How many playthroughs did it take Swine flu should be good for at least one of them. i want this game:(

but uncharted with its small ledges that arent instantly noticable could be next to invisible on a CRT.

I didn’t say they would be unplayable, just proffering my opinion that they need an HD set to be enjoyed fully. Swapping from one to the other really highlights the gulf between the two. Yay? Absolute Boner I say! :D :lol: I think you should give the original game a go. It should ease your worries. |
