Mark your calendars, Nintendo racing fans: Need for Speed Nitro has been gifted a release date by Electronic Arts and it's November 20 in Europe and Nov 17 in the US.

The Wii and DS effort sports a colourful, exaggerated art style, exotic real world tracks, support for the Wii racing wheel, classic and GameCube controllers and yes - lots of boost.

EA Montreal and part time press release PR man, Joe Booth said: "Need for Speed Nitro offers fun and intense competition for every type of gamer.
