You can't accuse Sony of not having some pretty damn impressive titles ready for the release of the PSP Go. Looking forward to this more than MGS rising for some reason. Even if I don't own a psp my sister does and my brother too they wont miss it for a week or two. Not really bothered about coop but may give it a stab. Blimey the PSP has come on a long way!!! the only downside is i have to buy another PSP to play it. how much is a PSP3000 and how big a memory stick can they take cause i ain't shelling out over £200 for the PSPGO. really want this game though. i'd hoped Kojima would follow on Big Boss's story with MGS5 or at least a game on one of the home consoles but alas the PSP seems to be the only place for the continuation of MGS3(best game in series along with the first one) with Portable ops and now this. I don't know why these talented people waste their time creating games like MGS for a handheld, just make MGS5 on PS3 using Bluray.
This may as well be on Atari Lynx, and it will sell like crap like 99% of all PSP games. sad but very true Sony asked them to help with the relaunch of the psp, and both ubisoft and konami seem to really have done a good job visually. Its just a shame that nobody sensible will by the over priced console Its silly business.. they do look very nice though. This and GT on PSP really show up about 98% of Wii games.
If decent developers can achieve these standards from a portable then the Wii theoreticly could produce great looking games. Apart from Galaxy - I'm yet to see a Wii game that looks nice!
Tiger Woods and WWE do a fairly good job, but racing games have been and continue to look worse than PS2/PSP/Xbox/Cube games.
Rougue Squadron looks miles better than all Wii games and had split screen. "The abundance of sub-par-looking PSP is a real shame,"
I'm certain there's a word missing there, sub-par-looking games perhaps?
This game looks like a massive step up from Portable Ops, I can't wait. I only wish that we could expect more "MGS2 like or MGS3 like" gameplay. as i think mgs4 strayed a little too far from tactical espionage action. still a great game but you had to work really hard not to just blast through a lot of the game with an m60...
Gimme a facility to infiltrate Kojima! Its a pity they did not have a line up like it for the original psp launch or for the next 2 years after.
I have always considered getting a psp & with the original ones getting cheaper & cheaper now might be the best time to get one.
The go is not an option for me its just not worth the mark up sony have on it. Can't wait for this game. Loved MGS3 (and the whole series really) and hope this is its spiritual sequel (ignoring Portable Ops).
No-one mentioning the possible hidden message in that video? At the end the test card counts 1, 2, 3, 4, S (or 5), E. Is there a 'special edition' of 4 in the works after all that denial? With Dexter, Clank, Loco Roco, Papaton, Monster Hunter, FF7 Crisis, GOW, GTA3 and Vice City, Siphon Filter etc and more on PSP and with Gran Tourismo, LBP and MGS Peace Walker coming and more, there's really no reason to slate the device.
With strong sales and excellent portability I think it can hold its own. Sony have done well to support PS2, PS3 and PSP so I think I'll continue to hang around Sony camp.
Screen shots look sweet and even put some Wii games to shame! Well, maybe I think the putting some Wii games to shame comment is absolutely justified. Really looking foward to this one. Nice to see them really trying with the PSP. It has a ton of great games coming up. |
