Haven't even completed the first game on the PS3 yet. I hope is does get a European release, the PS3 version was beautiful. The fact that it was indeed criminally overlooked may prevent it from doing so. one of the best games on ps3 in fact i've ever played.beautiful, engaging and gripping this game was way too good.the sequel will hopefully have english voiceovers so i can import it at the very least. I don't own psp and really like Valkyria Chronicles. Why they switching platforms? I guess it depends how many Valkyria Chronicles sold. It's a good game, but it's not widely known so sales figures were maybe too low to justify a sequel.
I got my copy for free (from a CVG competition) but I wouldn't have picked it up otherwise. I don't like the obsession with cookie-cutter Manga kids saving the world all the time, so I might not even pick up the sequel. Which is a shame, because the actual strategy part, the weapon upgrades and the story itself, were really good. Just the characters bugged me. Great game. This one kept me hooked until I completed it. Mind you I love these tactics style games. PSP version would be sweet - compliments my MH Unite obsession at the mo. recent sales boost caused by fan action saw vc sell over 500k worldwide recent sales boost caused by fan action saw vc sell over 500k worldwide recent sales boost caused by fan action saw vc sell over 500k worldwide |
