New Need for Speed: Shift screens

Gorgeous EA racer out in September
EA's released a couple of new Need for Speed: Shift screenshots (an early morning snack, if you will), following this week's revealing of the game's new drift mode.

The promising new instalment, which you can see in motion via the video below, is due out in the UK on September 18.

..this is looking better and better each time i see it..........dare i say it , it looks better/more fun than GT5.........

I wouldn't take it over GT5, but it certainly looks really good. The perfect stop-gap.

This looks pretty damn good. As davidc is does look more and more promising everytime they release info on this.

I just hope they can port it well to the PC.

Still don't get everyone's hard-on for drifting. Each to their own I suppose, just that I prefer driving round a corner, you know... properly.

Graphics looks great though.

Can't wait for this but I still can't shake the notion of 'NEED FOR SPEED = SHIT' after years of shallow dissapointing games.Off topic I know, but if anyone is interested, Play.com have just listed Forza 3 'Limited edition' at £54.99 (HURRAR).

'Limited Edition Contents to be Confirmed'

Right, that just about guarantees that we won't be getting the 2Gb USB stick that was announced a few weeks back, then.

I might just have to stick with the normal edition - although, I like the idea of having priority in the auctions and the other 'in game' extras.

It's like the Arkham Asylum LE - I would love the 'Crime Alley' add-on, but I don't particularly want to pay £20 extra for it....I've no interest in a plastic 'Batarang' model.

...and as for MW2's night vision goggles (cringe).

:)
