If You Care, We Can Make a Difference

"If" is the beginning of every vision, the first glimmer of a new possibility, a step to reverse the past, an opportunity to realize potential. It’s hope for a better world. When a friend is hurt in a workplace incident,a grandparent is injured by a fall or a teen is killed driving recklessly, the issue becomes personal. At the National Safety Council, our goal is to make sure your family and friends never lose a loved one to a preventable injury.

Grounded in science with proven solutions, our work is changing our country. And we aren’t done yet. With your help, we will:

  • Remove drunk drivers from the road
  • Reduce senior falls
  • Wipe out accidental prescription overdoses
  • Continue to decrease the number of workplace injuries
  • Halt the increase in distracted driving
  • Educate young drivers about risky behaviors
