WipEout HD 'Fury' expansion in final testing

Release date to be announced once it's done
Sony's Liverpool Studio has said the huge WipEout HD expansion pack, entitled Fury, is in the final stages of QA testing and will get a release date once it's through.

When asked about a release date on the Euro PS Blog, a rep from the dev team said it was in the final phase of QA testing at the moment.

"Once this is completed we will be in a position to announce the release date here on the PlayStation Blog."

Director Tony Buckley explained last month: "The WipEout HD Fury expansion pack will increase the content of your current game with 8 new tracks, 13 new ship models and 3 new game modes, 2 of which will be available for online play." Watch the announcement trailer here.

Do you have to pay for this?

Now this is a proper expansion pack, there's quite a few developers out there who could learn from this. I don't have Wipeout HD but this is tempting me.

There's 8 new tracks, 13 new ships and 3 new game modes. You can't really expect them to release all that for free.

i'd gladly pay another 12 nuggets to have this.

its the current game all over again but with new tracks and vehicles. although i thought the design studio that made the game had closed down and they were only going to continue with their graphic design department?
