1943 will support play for up to 24 players and feature three of the series' best maps: Iwo Jima, Guadal Canal and the ever-popular Wake Island itself.

As an added bonus, EA has hidden a fourth map in the game, Coral Sea, which will be unlocked once the community has achieved 43 million kills on either platform. Cool, eh?

Any news on the PC version yet?
Posted by Dajmin
September is the ETA for the PC version.

Can't say I'm particularly interested in yet another WW2 shooter though, even if it is free. Heroes is okay, if a little bland. 1943 will be a bit better with the Frostbite engine for damage, but I'm not yet convinced.

Great game, i love it. As a BIG player of BF:1942 on the PC, i feel this brings that to the console very well. Certainly if ur a player of '42 on the PC, i would recommand this easily to anyone looking for online shooter. Everyone who is interested should at least try the demo as its the full game for 30 mins, so you play online and see if you like it.

This really looks quite good and a tenner?

You can spend a tenner on the way home from school, a bit thirsty, you buy a coke, a couple of bags of crisps, it starts raining, you lose a fiver running home and BANG! In all of that, you could have got Battlefield.

I think I've got to get this

Will be buying this next week.

Wouldn't be playing it much and I need to keep my money saved for alcohol at T in the Park. Seeing Bruce Springsteen on Tuesday as well :D

just paid a tenna for 1943 tonight only to find that you can't play the game as they don't have enough servers !!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Currently a waste of time and money.
