Joking aside, I am a big fan of several of these Eidos titles. Deus Ex, Hit man, and Thief. And at the same time, I really hate Square Enix and the games they make. I kind of hate the fact that I may be funding their godawful Jrpg's in the future.

OK, so you hate an entire publisher because you hate JRPGs- fair enough, if you don't like the genre, you don't like it. But, Eidos hasn't been very financially sound for quite a while and this move is going to be a big benefit for both companies. I'm sure you'll be able to get over the fact that they'll be releasing successful JRPGs that will help fund some of the other franchises that you DO like. I'm sure you'll manage.

And all SE make are JRPG's... so before they were less than completely useless to me. But you bring up an interesting point in how it can work both ways.
