Can't wait for this. Was a wee bit worried that the interface wouldn't translate very well to an Xbox pad but Sam n' Max lifted that fear so I'm definitely getting the XBLA version. Couch, cup of tea, Monkey Island on a big screen. Bliss. I've never actually played this game, so i'm definately going to download this. You're in for a treat!
Gonna bring back so many memories for me, sitting at my Amiga until the early hours, writing down the swordplay insults with wee arrows connecting them...
Oh aye. Gonna get this on release for the PC. Reccommended to all my friends that have never played this also. Cannot wait! This news makes my spit thick!!! Yes! Can't wait to hear the updated orcastra score and the voiceovers are gonna be great.
I only hope they do the same for ML2 which, imo, is vastly superiour to the first.
I also like the way you can switch between the HD version and the original blocky version in the same way as with R-Type.

I used to spend hours mapping levels on 'eye of the beholder' on graph paper, it was all part of the gaming experience, it's all too easy nowadays.
Anyhow, can't wait for this, it's exactly the kind of old game that benefits from an update, bring it :D on DAMMIT this is cool but im trying to download the new game but telltales site keeps dropping out!! surly they must have accommodated for the MASSIVE influx of traffic on their site today?! How appropriate, you fight like a cow.... Got Battlefield 1943 2morro and now this, lots of points need to be brought :) I'm guessing this won't come with the standard 9 floppy discs then? Ah... Those were the days. yup,i am up for this i got my points card waiting for tomorrows BF1943 and then with the rest i will be getting Monkey Island...i hope they release all the other Monkey Island games on XBLA and then the new Tales of Monkey Island that the PC and Wii get this week
