Oh come on. this game looked like it was gonna be a summer blockbuster. something gaming needs more of. they bring it out at christmas and no matter how good it is it'll get swamped by all the other AAA games coming out. :( idiots calm down... calm down... calm down!

Oh okay, i'll go back to killing puppies everyday until Duke Nukem Forever comes out. Over 3500 so far! I don't know how these game developers sleep at night, I really dont. This game looks better every time I see it! Aside from the christmas rush, the fact that every blockbuster title of this year is being released in summer months means far fewer sales to fill their pockets with fat wads of cash!
Let's hope that any extra months of non-release are used to polish the game to diamond standard and not for the code to gather dust as it is prepared for lasering on to thousands of discs. Exactly when will they learn that gamers buy games no matter what time of the year they are released, obviously thats if they are worth buying in the first place. 8) Yeah we can look forward to EVERY eidos game been delayed from now on. Regarding whether it has been delayed or not:
"Amid rumors of a delay for Batman: Arkham Asylum, Eidos and Warner Bros Interactive have confirmed that the game has been pushed back. Speculation pegged the new date in the fourth quarter of 2009, and many thought that meant a definite holiday release. Eidos has now said the game will actually release at the "end of summer 2009," which means it has to release by September 21, still (barely) in third quarter."
Not quite the May or June release date but hey. Cool then we might actually get a decent game from them then. :D »
