The first issue of Today's Business, is mailed in advance to all registered delegates and representatives of the convention and to all congregations. It contains the convention schedule, Part II of the President's Report, special standing rules, several late overtures, additional reports, official announcements, and other important information. Most importantly it contains nearly all of the resolutions to be considered by the 2007 convention, formulated by Floor Committees 1-10 in meetings in St. Louis, May 18-21.

The first issue was made available well in advance of the convention to allow as much time as possible for study and discussion. Printed copies were made available for purchase from the Office of the Secretary for $7.50 per copy. Copies of each issue of Today's Business is available in PDF form for download from this web site.

Delegates are encouraged to arrange or attend meetings of groups they represent to receive reactions and suggestions regarding the business of the convention. Suggestions for changes to the resolutions may be presented in writing to the chairmen of the appropriate floor committees, who are required to report all such responses to their committees prior to the convention (names and addresses are included in the first issue of Today's Business).

Daily issues of Today's Business were published at the time of the convention. In addition to the official program of the convention, they provide substitute or revised resolutions, daily minutes, authorized announcements, proposed amendments, and other important official information. These issues were distributed during the convention to all official delegates and, as long as supply lasts, also to visitors.
