The PC needs more balls to the wall action games like this, I mean we got a late port of DMC4 and thats it.
I used to play DMC and GoW on my PS2 but I upgraded my PC a few years back and chose that as my prefered platform, but I still miss the straight forward action games like this. It's so not worth buying a console for just a select few games IMHO so please, EA, PC release pl0x, even if it is a well done port a few months after the console release.
BTW, please don't flame me or call me a PC fanboy, although nowadays anyone who shows a vague allegiance with the PC gets it. Fanboy. Only poofters use PCs for anything other than Word and Excel, everyone knows that. And, even then, using Excel is a bit iffy. I didn't realise the Dead Space team were developing this, I was looking forward to it before, it'll be a day one purchase now, I bet they'll have a brilliant take on hell. The reason I switched from gaming on the PC to consoles was because of 3rd person action games that don't really have much of a presence on the PC. The genre suits a controller rather than mouse/keyboard.
Even picked a PS2 version of one of my old PC favourites Rune the other week. Fear not for you are not alone. I recently bought an Xbox 360 for a new 42 inch LCD TV and I do enjoy it, however, it has not diminished my fondness for PC gaming (especially where surgically accurate controls are needed). :)
As for "Dante's Inferno", I was already interested and this video is awfully close to sealing the deal for me. |
