It's fun to play and the battle system worked a treat, but the story wasn't great, the characters lacked personality and were not as likable as in other ff games. No love story between the Vaan and Ashe either. =[ Did not know PS1 had FF1 :shock: They need to get them all on PSN, also Vagrant Story would be great, as I never played it :\ Currently playing through 8 on the PSP. Best toilet game ever. XII a sequel to vargrant story?
Go play the original FF tactics. thats what its a sequel to. Set in the same universe and everything.
A pile of shit compared to tactics as well. Xii is definately my least favourite FF. For me XII was the worst FF, I just hated it.
Mind you, I'm not sure which is worse XII or X-2.
Probably XII. Yes, Vagrant Story is another all-time classic from the unrivalled Playstation library. What a touch that would be to have that on PSN as well
Can you understand why I'm such a Sony fanboi now :D FF I PS version isn't that brilliant so lets not get all hype about it. The Gameboy Advance version was much improved with a save on the world map feature and a MP system. @Squall5005
about your comments on Final Fantasy 12...SPOT ON!!...the story was nearly boring me to tears and the only character i cared about was Basch
the battle system i thought was great though,it was one of the few FF games where i actually enjoyed levelling up/grinding
as for Final Fantasy 1 on PSN,i think i will give it a miss,i have it about 3-4 times on various formats as it is vagrant story is probably one of my favourite games ever,despite the fact that i never completed it.i hope and pray that it comes out on psn we need FFVIII and FFIX now not rehashed FF1 which is on PSP already or GBA etc.... FFXII has the best Cid yet. I wish the fantasy would be final. these games are as boring as shit once you have played a couple of them. SVD grasshopper had secks with Miyamoto at E3.
