Seriously though, if it's that risky why make it exclusive? And apparently laughing about it when it could end up with people losing their jobs is not cool. No idea.
When I first glimpsed the article headline I thought for a split second that some comment or joke was being made about Svd_grasshopper. MAXIMUM RISKY! I always thought Grasshopper was wasted on Wii. Give um the grunt of the PS3 then you're in for something special. Now we know why he vehemently defends Sony, he's getting paid by them  .
Sorry, couldnt resist it. Don't think i've ever played a bad game from Grasshopper. It probably won't sell in the millions like most of the trite crap out on the market at the moment but it'll definately be better than it. I'm with ya.  "Ahh Grasshopper!"...let's hope you don't go the same way as David Carradine!! LOL,same here,i thought 'so that's why he always slags off the 360' I suppose you've got to give them credit for taking a risk. At least we, as gamers, will get to see another unique title from these talented devs. And they are not alone because you only have to look at titles like Heavy Rain, which are also taking massive risks.
But then, these are usually the games that interest me the most. Refresh my memory, Grasshopper have done what before? Don't worry, I actually read the article now. Sony are publishing Heavy Rain though. I'm pretty certain they have much more funds than Marvelous do to not got bankrupt if Heavy Rain flops at retail. PS3 seems to be the place to go for eccentric games.
Heavy Rain, LBP, Last Guardian and this secret game are genuinely different to what you'd see on Xbox. It's this kind of difference that makes it worthwhile owning both.
Go on Sony, bring the price down....... Slag off everyone on the cvg forums and say gimp a lot mainly. Grasshopper are great and Suda is a ****ing genius. nothing they have ever made has been below brilliant. RIP? i think not friend. if it's going to be a horror game, then it'll be exactly what ps3 needs. No More Heroes would have a happy place on any of the consoles, it's sick. I love their style. They are like gaming rebels. I bet they are the type of guys you could go down the pub with and have an evening of juvenile fun with a smattering of piss taking :) Speaking of whom, why does he not comment on PS3 threads? He's round xbox threads like a paedophile around a playground yet something that's relevant to him and he's no where to be seen
Strange boy Excellent news! "Risky" = "New". It's always nice to see developers pursue new ideas, instead of rehashing greyish-brown FPS games. Now give us some bloody info please! Touche. »Because he can only whinge, complain and troll. Nothing to troll on in this thread. »
 Stop it guys! Your comments are making me laugh while at the same time stirring a modicum of sympathy for the fella since he's not around to defend himself. »»
He's probably on his way back from the playground now... »»
It is wrong to take the piss out of the guy when he's not here to defend himself. Better go to the Thread about the new MGS and do it there instead.
Ever get the feeling that he's not so much a PS3 owner but a self hating 360 owner. Risky? My GOD! Do you know what that means?! A game with great gameplay, good story, good characterization and it'll be a deep RPG!!!!
I mean, what other game in today's video game market would as risky as a game that had all the above?! They should release it on PSN and have Sony pay for the development costs. It's a strip joint simulator! Strip Joint Tycoon!
I'd buy it... It's a strip joint simulator! Strip Joint Tycoon!
I'd buy it... Does anyone think my suspicion that thus game for PS3 is the Suda51/Mikami mash up that the RE godfather promised us a while back.
He said in OPM UK last year that the game would be a survuval horror game directed by Suda and overseen by Shinji himself and would use his expertise and all of Suda's imagination(possibly why they say here that including everything might bankrupt them!)-certainly the translation of the name into Darkness would suggest a survival horror as a strong candidate, no?
I hope I'm right as this is a real dream team of mine, and I expect many other gamers too! |
