Cant wait for it Diablo II was such a great for its realistic grpahics, the storyline was good, the skills, gameplay and everything else was good. Diablo III is a major step back in graphics, everytime i play Diablo III i will have to resist the urge to get the disc and smash it into a millions piceces Surely you jest. A step backwareds graphically? Please. When was the last time you played Diabolo II? While it was a heck of a game for its time and it can still be fun today it *is* showing it's age! Both graphically and control wise. Bring on Diablo III by all means! i have to agree, Diablo 3 looks like it, in no uncertain terms, will be a massive step forward. I for one, cannot wait!. Diablo II looked nice, but only because it eschewed true 3-D. By keeping all the models relatively small it was able to achieve a certain effective style. Totally agree, fantastic series, bring it on! Looking mighty fine. Never played Diablo II, but will snap this up in a flash. Can't wait to play this, every new thing makes me a little happier inside.
Yes it DOES look cartoony and different to D2, but that's because D2 used sprited, and pre-rendered backgrounds to make look as good as it did.
There is always going to be someone who doesnt like the new style, means when I play the game online, I dont have to deal with them whining about it. It's prettier - just. But more important, it's the same game isn't it? I mean at it's core, it's the same game? Some different weapons or creatures and stuff, but the same.
Don't quite get all the hoopla about it. ahh you are right there is no logical reason to be interested, its exactly the same game...

a) its blizzard
b) its as addictive as crack..
