Diablo II was such a great for its realistic grpahics, the storyline was good, the skills, gameplay and everything else was good. Diablo III is a major step back in graphics, everytime i play Diablo III i will have to resist the urge to get the disc and smash it into a millions piceces

Surely you jest. A step backwareds graphically? Please. When was the last time you played Diabolo II? While it was a heck of a game for its time and it can still be fun today it *is* showing it's age! Both graphically and control wise. Bring on Diablo III by all means!

i have to agree, Diablo 3 looks like it, in no uncertain terms, will be a massive step forward. I for one, cannot wait!.

Diablo II looked nice, but only because it eschewed true 3-D. By keeping all the models relatively small it was able to achieve a certain effective style.

Can't wait to play this, every new thing makes me a little happier inside.

Yes it DOES look cartoony and different to D2, but that's because D2 used sprited, and pre-rendered backgrounds to make look as good as it did.

There is always going to be someone who doesnt like the new style, means when I play the game online, I dont have to deal with them whining about it.
