Official PSN update list

Final Fantasy VII, Final Fantasy VII and Final Fantasy VII
Final Fantasy VII obviously wins - in fact if you're reading this and still haven't downloaded it you're going wrong in life.

But this week's is also all about trailers. There's a shed load of them straight out of E3, and although we've been pumping up all the E3 footage here, there's something extra special about seeing them in 1080p on your TV as though they were actually running on your PS3.

Wolfenstein 3d is on the US store, along with SF Alpha 2 and Medal of Honour from PS1.

Why is it so hard to release them here?

Ah well, time to get a US PSN store card again.

It's all about the Final Fantasy download this week.

I tried it last night (after an hours download and install!) and couldn't believe how well the game plays after all this time. It even looks mint on the small PSP screen, especially the pre-rendered backgrounds. I was so impressed when the CGI at the beginning moved seamlessly into the game; with Cloud eventually jumping off the train with Barret and the gang.

Still the best FF by a country mile.

Got it the moment it was put on the store and i was on it all night.

Such a classic.

The music alone brought so many old memories back.

Has anyone tried the fightnight demo yet? Is it any good?I've been too busy with finalfantasy.

Finally! I've been waiting for this ever since I bought PS3 and PSP. It's still kinda hard to believe they finally managed to get it on the EU/US PSN. Deus Ex and FF7 are my most favorite games ever.

Now Metal Gear Solid please!

I thought Fight Night Round 4 demo was awesome, I enjoyed it a lot more than UFC. (I never played Fight Night before)
I've already pre-ordered it.

Amen to that Bi-line cvg.

I am extremely happy to see so many gamers hyped up for this 12 years on.

Hopefully the take up will be big and someone at Square takes notice that people still want this game updated...i can dream cant i ?

Timeless classic. I'm glad so many people are enjoying it after so many years. I still have the original under my telly and I play it ritually every 6 months or so.

crap, crap game. has no atmosphere.

panzer saga shits on this games head.

FF7 is probably still the best Final Fantasy ever (although series afficionados claim that that honour belongs to FF6, or is it 5?) so I couldn't resist this for £7.99.

I've so far only played past the opening boss but all the memories came flooding back oh lordy...

I can't wait to get all those classic FF7 summons again and the materia system is still better than anything they've managed in the series so far.

p.s the Fight Night demo impressed. Good gameplay and top graphics and presentation

Yeah, I tried it last night. The demo only lets you fight for 3 rounds as Ricky Hatton, but I must have had about 10 tries before turning it off. Really good. Lots of depth for a boxing game.

I'll be picking it up.

FFVII is a timeless classic.

Now I,ll buy a psp go

Your credit card doesn't work on US PSN? Because I don't have any problems buy with my credit card on US PSN.
There's no PSN for Slovakia, so I can't buy anything on the EU PSN as they check the country, but the US PSN doesn't check anything so I'm buying everything there as that's the only option for me. No problems.

And of course because it's your opinion, it's gospel, or are you just deliberately slating a classic game just so you can start one of your petty little arguments again where you start swearing and say 'gimp' a lot?. I'm guessing it's the latter.

On a side note I was thinking of downloading crash commando, anyone think it's worth it?.
Posted by vladimir_imp
Erm...the EyePet trailer is also on PSN. Not sure why it's been missed off of this list but it's definitely work checking out. Particularly after all the Natal talk this week. Other sites have got some pretty interesting previews on it.

its my opinion, so its just an opinion. not gospel.

and i made a crash commando thread before the new one that is in the ps3 section. guy obviously didnt search. i got it before the demo, and it is worth it. very much so. tons of fun, and the graphics and animations are slick as ****. some neat touches like being able to roll (good for falling off edges quicker) and the jetpack is well implemented. you can roll and use your jet boost too. a VERY controllable and enjoyable game. the controls are precise. its great in teams too. some games you need to defend your base, with multiple entry points, so you need to get in a strategic position, have them covered well and have the appropriate weapon.

one of the best small games on PSN. but its my opinion. it may just be lies. or i may just find FF to be mudane bolloks, hence why i like this fast paced, well balanced game. so just go ahead and guess the latter and miss out on a great game. gimp.

http://kotaku.com/5279000/metal-gear-solid-dated-priced-for-playstation-store

Konami has officially put a price on the re-release now that all that other Metal Gear Solid related news is out of the way. The Hideo Kojima epic will arrive at the PS one Classic premium price of $9.99 USD on June 18th, two days after the "Greatest Hits" version of Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots ships in the States at its new budget price of $29.99.
