E3: More EA Sports Active on the way

Expansion already in the works for autumn
Electronic Arts has revealed that an expansion to EA Sports Active will be hitting the shelves in the autumn, as well as unveiling some games for girls, Littlest Pet Shop and Charm Girls' Club.

The EA conference also gave EA top dogs John Ricctiello and Peter Moore the chance to show Nintendo a little lovin'.

EA boss Riccitiello described the Wii as a "spectacular" platform (if games are developed for the system from the ground up), then EA Sports boss Peter "It's in the game" Moore went on to add that he can't think of any game he's been more proud of that EA Sports Active. Huge praise indeed from the former Xbox man.

But compared to the Ubisoft conference, there wasn't really much to see in terms of new Wii and DS games. The new EA Sports Active expansion wasn't shown, but what we did see was a very female friendly presentation in which several new Littlest Pet Shop and Charm Girls Club were showcased.
