If CVG hadn't have mentioned it, you would be all "Oh, yet another thing CVG misses". So what if it is news of news. If they have two huge exclusives/announcements, I want to know about when they are being revealed so I can go over at the apropriate time.
I don't mean to be antagonistic or rude, but some of you really should be full time members of Edge's forums. we dont need an announcement telling is there is going to be an announcement. simple. No he's been claiming for his PSN account, they've just realised it's free. The police are investigating. Kudos to fanboy! I would have quite liked some warning, or some pre-announcement, of this meta-announcement ;) They are claiming 2 "Huge" exclusives. This to me indicates that something quite exciting is coming up, especially with E3 shaking its booty suggestively on the horizon. To me, that is worth getting excited about and thus, is news. Obviously, we are all entitled to our own opinion, but if it is something to get excited about, I want to hear about it. It's not up to you and your friend to make snide comments when it is worth reading for someone else. Presumably you saw the headline so if you know it is something you are not interested in, don't bother reading it.

2. Before you answer back saying you clicked on the link to comment on it, sorry but what is the point? CVG aren't going to listen to your individual, debatable baseless comments, they're going to carry on posting new items that the majority are interested in. Getting angry at this story is like getting angry at the news for "announcing that an announcement is going to happen," when the presidential election was happening. To be fair though, that was a bad comparison because I don't think I'm speaking for myself when I say the build-up to the election was mind-numbingly boring and repetitive. That's my RDA of typing for the day! svd_grasshopper hasn't had his fill of man sausage today which might explain the cynicism.

Dunno about anyone else but I've been keeping my eyes open all day. The last PC only game is being worked on in Boise Idaho and will be released this Novemeber.....!!!! Whatever it is I almost guarentee you it'll be a waste of time and a minor announcement at best.
Remember the last big announcement from Sony? A bloody price cut to the PS bloody 2. What a waste of time that was as we did'nt even get a price cut in the UK to the fading last gen winner.

PS3 - RIP im in a bit of a dilemma i just got a 2nd hand 360
its manufacturing date 2006 so it aint a jasper but
it has nxe installed and i dont have any storage devices so what is it???? there's memory in the xbox just for system updates, that'll be what the NXE is saved on. Hate to shatter your dreams fanboy 5hithead, but not everyone is a fan of FPS. I'm sure the PS3 would do just fine if MW2 was an XBox exclsive. Of course it would....its a great DVD player! There are all the marvelous exclusives it has too......that no-one buys!!

Erm, look at how much Gears and Halo sold comapred to any first party PS3 game.
And the fact that "the most played game" on ps3 (according to you) is nothing to boast about because it shows that the best of the ps3.....is multiplatoform..... Funny you should mention that because that's what my 360 does most of the time...
CoD isn't the be all and end all ;) so, what was it cvg? According to the latest Official PS3 mag Sony are rumoured to have at least 2 massive suprises for E3. yeah it has been over 24 hrs now...that Twitter post was posted on May 14th...it is now 5.12pm May 16th 1, A wii game will be released that doenst ask you to shake the controllers like youre holding onto an electric fence...

I smell something about this story and it's not nice at all. It's now the 17th, so the 28 readers of this article (CVG - not too busy a site nowadays is it?!) are now officially disappointed that nothing appeared (yawn!)
I Soooooo severely doubt it had anything to do with PC any way - so little news is about PC gaming any more...! :( Looks like an in-depth feature on modern warfare 2 and first exclusive look of (yawn!) dj hero to me.... This article is a pile of shite. A least get rid of it C & VG. Kin amateurs. |
