Volunteer Support
Laborers For Christ, a ministry of the Lutheran Church Extension Fund, offers a unique opportunity to support the efforts to expand God’s Kingdom. Consider becoming a Laborer!
The Laborers of Laborers For Christ are Christian men and women who do physical labor for Christ, working for congregations and other church-related organizations of The Lutheran Church—Missouri Synod to build churches, schools, parish halls, retirement homes, camp facilities, etc. Christian principles are applied on the construction site, and each worker does what he or she can.
The Lutheran Church Extension Fund has been blessed with many investors who support the mission and ministry of Church Extension. This support enables us to make low-cost loans to LCMS churches, schools and rostered church workers. Money invested with LCEF earns a fair rate of return, while at the same time, these dollars (combined with investments from other LCEF partners) are loaned to LCMS organizations at competitive rates. Thank you for considering a gift to the ministry of LCEF! The ministry of LCEF is supported by your gift, which makes it possible for us to keep costs low on loans and services. Your gift helps LCMS organizations maximize their resources for ministry.
There are several ways to make a deferred or planned gift. In addition to the benefit to the ministry receiving the gift, there can be wonderful benefits for the donors too.
