Activision ordered to hand over Scratch source code

Court sides with Genius Products over DJ Hero
A court has ordered Activision-owned developer 7 Studios to return the source code for Scratch - The Ultimate DJ to its publisher Genius Products.

The company was also ordered to return all pre-existing developer software tools and technology that went into making the game.

In addition, the court granted an injunction preventing 7 Studios and Activision discussing the game code with one another or any third parties.

Last week Genius and Numark filed legal action against Activision and 7 Studios for allegedly conspiring to prevent Scratch - The Ultimate DJ from getting to market ahead of Activision's rival game DJ Hero.

"Scratch DJ Game LLC will aggressively pursue its court case against Activision, 7 Studios and Peterson for damages resulting from their actions to delay and take over the Scratch game," Genius said after the ruling.

I swear there was an article recently on CVG saying Activision won the court case? Am I just remembering wrong or has something changed?

Edit: Thanks stickmus, knew I wasn't just making things up in my head
