Many of the armies of the world are moving away from having distinctive uniforms. This is of course on top of the fact that many of the 'People's Liberation Armies' are guerrilla or terrorist groups and plan not to have an identifiable uniform. Listed below are some of what we have fought against so far.

Uniform VC (NLF). National Liberation Front guerrilla uniform. These items are part of the contents of a Viet Cong pack which provided a complete uniform of the village Viet Cong. Other items included  home made ammunition pouches, rice bowl, pack, hammock roll and rubber sandals. Village Viet Cong remained close to their own hamlet, working in the fields during the day and supporting main force troops at night. Uniform of main force VC.

  Part of a Viet Cong pack containing a number of articles which provided a complete uniform for the regional Main Force Viet Cong. Other items in the pack included waist belt with pouch and water bottle, rubber sandals, webbing pouches, hammock roll and pack.

This jacket was recovered in Vietnam by members of the Australian Army. 

The type of jacket was a cold weather pattern worn by the People's Army of Vietnam (PAVN). 

Khaki woollen battledress jacket with brown plastic buttons along front and at cuffs. 

The jacket has two breast pockets fastened with buttons, shoulder straps and a buttoned waistband.
