Destroy All Humans: Path Of The Furon

As much fun as an anal probe... we think.
Taking control of Crypto, an alien tasked with collecting DNA by gathering humans brains and causing mass destruction was quite amusing on the original Xbox. But it was only slightly fun and that was back in 2005.

The series doesn't seem to have kept up with the pace. Low-res textures and repetitive character models are one thing, but texture pop-in, game-breaking glitches and an inconsistent framerate on Xbox 360?

But it's not just the engine that grates. Why offer a flying saucer as a means of transport when you can only take off and land at certain parts of the landscape? Why provide so much inventive weaponry when the gun you start with is the most effective and can be fully upgraded after an hour of play?

Even the narrative offers little motivation to progress. It's littered with cultural stereotypes and cut-scenes that cause more cringes than chuckles. Unless you're a dedicated fan of aliens sandboxes, stay away.

One to avoid like Crypto's anal probe.
