"Excitebots: Trick Racing has elements that make it one of the more unique racing games on the market," says Nintendo. "It launches April 20 [in the US] and lets everyone in the family use the Wii Wheel accessory in unique and changing environments, play fun mini-games and perform crazy tricks in a game that builds on the Excitebike and Excite Truck franchises."

This actaully looks pretty fun. Very goofy and off the wall. Lets hope the gameplay holds up and it has some depth.

I really enjoyed Excite Trucks, so I am looking forward to this it looks a lot of fun and at least the graphics look polished too!

It looks like they have used the Excite Trucks engine there. Note the fov set high to give a bigger feeling of speed.

I saw Excite Truck on our local Forbidden Planet (I love that place!)second hand for a tenner. I kinda wished I had picked it up now.

Garbage! Stop stalling Nintendo, Give me F-Zero Wii already.

Agreed. I want blistering speed, solid 60 FPS frame rate, classic tracks, a tonne of replay value (a real problem with a lot of Wii titles) and a decent multiplayer option.

Oh, and for the love of god a firmware 2.0 release with the abolishment of friend codes, and maybe a few soft performance tweaks IBM/ATI have no doubt squeezed out of their chips by now. Wishful thinking? PROVE ME WRONG NINTENDO.

Looks and sounds bloody awful. F-Zero please, Nintendo.
