Wonder if Star OCean being bumped to June in PAL regions had something to do with this. Sounds like good news to me. Just don't change the way Lara looks.... :wink: You don't want her to look like a 12 year old Japanese school girl? :shock: Eidos are going to be autonomous by the sounds of it because they want to get Western appeal and interferring with the Western developer/publisher won't help that. If this means a proper revival of the Tomb Raider and Hitman series then im all for it, if it means the japan-imation of them then Square can go to hell. :lol: Eh, add a double digit number to that 12 and maybe we can start talking. Still, Lara just wouldn't be the same to me if she changed ethnicity. Call it a fond memory from my teenage years. :P Ooouh! I'd love to see a well made Hitman 4!
Completely agree with your closing sentiment. I have to admit I have never been a fan of Tomb Raider at all. I don't see Lara as that much of a big name anymore either. She may have had her day in the sun now maybe. Im happy if Eidos team stay on at Square, if not.. im not going to be happy about this -.- I just hope this doesn't affect Deus Ex 3 or the rumoured Thief 4... |
